Desktop color grading, GPT-6.1 Sol in Codex CLI, and independent caption translations

Desktop 0.6.6 adds Color Wheels, Film Look Creator with HSL, and an Effects library you can browse by category, search, and favorites. Codex CLI in Desktop can use GPT-6.1 Sol when your ChatGPT account has access. On the web, original and translated captions now stay independently editable.

Color grading

Balance shadows, midtones, and highlights with Color Wheels

Apply Color Wheels from Library → Effects → Color to adjust Lift, Gamma, and Gain. Drag inside a wheel to balance color, use its master slider to darken or lighten, and reset one wheel or all three. Each completed drag is one Undo step, and Esc cancels a drag in progress.

Create a film-style grade with Film Look Creator

Film Look Creator adds a film-style grade to video and images without importing a LUT. Start from a base look, then refine exposure, contrast, white balance, split tone, vignette, and film grain. Optional groups can be switched off, and resetting a group is one Undo step. The output is SDR.

Adjust eight color ranges with HSL

Inside Film Look Creator, HSL adjusts the hue, saturation, and luminance of red, orange, yellow, green, aqua, blue, purple, and magenta. Targeted adjustment lets you drag up or down on a color in the Viewer instead of finding its slider.

Effects

Find Desktop effects by category, search, and favorites

Library → Effects now groups effects into categories such as Color and Masks & Keying. One search covers names and descriptions in the interface language or English, the star saves an effect to Favorites, and effects can be sorted by name or recent use.

Agents

Use GPT-6.1 Sol with Codex CLI in Desktop

When you choose Codex CLI in Agent Selection, the Model list comes from your signed-in Codex account and can include GPT-6.1 Sol if your ChatGPT account has access. Requests use your own ChatGPT plan. If a model is rejected, the turn now ends as failed instead of showing raw error data as a reply.

Fixes

Captions

Edit original and translated captions independently on the web

In the web editor, correcting or repaginating original captions keeps your translated captions unchanged, and a translation can be edited or repaginated without changing the original. Trims, splits, moves, speed changes, and deletions update both languages by source time, and Undo restores both. Translations are not regenerated automatically after you edit the original.
